
​The Edith McClung Lackey Scholarship honors the memory of a long-time member of the Lexington Woman’s Club who herself was unable to attend college. Instead, she worked and enabled her two sisters to earn their degrees.
Applicants must rank in the top 50% of the senior graduating class, attend an accredited Virginia community college, and demonstrate school and community engagement. The $500 award is need-based.

The Effa P. Quisenberry Scholarship honors the memory of a charter member of the Lexington Woman’s Club who was active from 1911 into the 1960’s.
Applicants must rank in the top 20% of the senior graduating class, attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university in or out of state, and demonstrate school and community engagement.The $2,000 award is need-based.
The Lexington Woman’s Club Scholarship honors the Club’s 100th anniversary in 2011.
Applicants must have at least a 3.5 GPA, attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university in Virginia, and demonstrate school and community engagement. The $3,500 award is need-based.​​
